SHAME AND EXILE — STORYBOARD FOR ANIMATION

We continue to make short videos on the signs of events. This is an interesting creative challenge for me as an artist and art director! Each EVENT SIGN is essentially a hieroglyph that contains a whole story inside! I try to keep the main theme in mind and use it as a sense filter when selecting shots. Then I open the finished pages of the comic and choose the best frames for a given topic. The next step for me is to create transitions between finished frames that help to develop a given theme. I need to determine the main movements and properly crop the elements that will move in the frame. These are the main tasks at the storyboard stage… Then the animation process begins, but that’s another story and I’ll write about it later in this blog…
