STARTING THE HISTORY OF McTIRE

The coincidence of several events set the stage for the creation of the McTire story. On July 19, 2022, I arrived in Riga (Latvia) and met a cheerful Irish guy (Diarmuid Brannik) in a hotel … I immediately liked him with a cheerful character and unusual appearance (somehow he reminded me of the image of a Viking from an old Hollywood movie))). The next day we drank coffee outside in a beautiful place in Old Riga, surrounded by beautiful architecture and the cries of seagulls… Diarmuid told me his idea for a comic book that shows events from the history of Ireland. I tried to draw small sketches for each episode. The next day I already tried to draw test frames with detailed rendering. It was a great start to the project! Later I was able to fly to Dublin and see with my own eyes the most beautiful views of Ireland. I wanted to make this story more global, with a transition to animation. The work on this project fascinated me and continues at the present time…
